Transition to Day care

So Josiah had been attending Tadika Anak Seri Cahaya since January 2012 for morning classes, and in May, we transitioned him to full day Daycare. Daycare in this Tadika starts from 11.30am to 5.30pm for an additional RM280 and includes bath, nap, lunch and snacks. Initially, he struggled a bit with the lunch and cried and vomitted out the food as he is a very picky eater. But now, he seemed to be having lots of fun until he had totally forgotten about his baby sitter. He won’t even go over to the babysitter’s house for a short visit.

Since daycare is full of kids, Josiah is having lots of fun there. Most of his classmates are in daycare too, so I guess he doesn’t feel alone or left out.

The good part too, I get longer hours with Josiah since we fetch him earlier than if he was a babysitter. And he eats his dinner at home, so now I have to cook for him. It’s noodles every night! I really thank God for providing a great Tadika that is so near to my home, with awesome teachers there.
