4 months milestones

At 4 months, most babies can:

• Smiles, laughs
• Can bear weight on legs
• Coos when you talk to him

Half of all babies can:

• Can grasp a toy
• Rolls over, from tummy to back

A few babies can :

• Imitates sounds: “baba,” “dada”
• Cuts first tooth
• May be ready for solid foods

Well, at 4 months, Josiah can roll over from Back to Tummy, but not from Tummy to back. When we put him on his back, he will immediately want to roll to his tummy, but we don’t know when he wants to go back to his back, since he doesn’t know how to do it. So most of the time after a while, we just roll him back. Well, my last post says that he doesn’t babble so much anymore. Take that back, as he started babbling a lot again over the weekend. So much that when he wakes up in the early morning, he will start babbling again. But the way he babbles is a little different now. He also learned how to shout. Sometimes, he just sits there and shout at the top of his voice. Well, he can definitely grasp a toy, once we put him down on the fisher price rocker with the hanging toys he will start grabbing and pulling at them.
