4 months and recap

Josiah turned 4 months on 5 June 2009.  On 6 June, we brought him to Klinik Kesihatan for his 4 month checkup, this time there is no vaccination. We decided to try Monday afternoon before 2pm to see if there will be less people, lo and behold there really were very few people. The docs and nurses were having lunch when we arrive so we just put our number and card for the queue. So when they came back, we were actually the first to be called in. All in all, less than 1 hour, compared to the usual 2-3 hours wait.

So some updates here, he’s now 8.3kg. Heavier by another 1kg+ than last month. Here, they never measure his height and head circumference. Anyways, then we got checked by the nurse. The nurse keep cubit his arms. So this month is good, no vaccination means no outbursts.

So some recap of his growth, how has Josiah changed?

Now he can roll over from back to stomach on his own, but not stomach to back yet. In fact, whenever we put him down on any surface, he would want to roll over. It’s like an instinct or something. He also started grabbing things and putting in the mouth. He is now able to grab at the hanging toys and make music. Ok now waiting to see when he can do pushup and sit up on his own.
